API Reference

Create a new beat.

https://localhost:8501/lr-admin-api/beats

* Creates a new beat if Id specified is -1, and then returns the LogRhythm generated beat Id.

* beatsTemplateId will be ignored and system will fetch beatsTemplateId on the basis of BeatTypeId provided.

Entity information provided in the request will be ignored since the entity will automatically be mapped based on the open collector information. Host information provided in the request will be ignored since the Host will automatically be mapped based on the beatToAgent's SystemMonitorId.
